I am passionate about market gardening on living soil, seed saving, designing sustainable projects and creating spaces rich in biodiversity.
I love to keep on learning and to transmit.
I am practical, but I also like creative and beautiful designs. My first project, of market gardening on living soil, was in the shape of a heart. It was not the most practical or efficient design, but it was lovely working in it, and a success for people to get to know the project and sell the production. Since then, I kept on drawing micro-farms and gardens for personal dreaming. When I took the PDC with Permaculture Education, I had a blast! New elements I can now take into account to design this time for other people as well, and with a more global approach!
I have been travelling a lot, doing volunteering in various countries to discover more about sustainable agriculture, bio-construction, community life and permaculture in general.
I have lived in several places off-grid in yurts, each time designing our new site, creating a flower-veggie garden, installing solar pannels, compost toilet, built an own yurt, etc.
I now live in Colombia where we are settling more permanently with my husband.
We have been volunteering here the last 2 years for an NGO focusing on agroecology teaching, saving heirloom seeds, making organic fertilizers of all kinds and implementing and maintaining ecologic and educative veggie gardens in communities that have been affected by armed conflicts.
I am also bio-ingeneer in forest and nature management, high school teacher, environmental educator, certified energy healer, teacher and coach.
I speak French, English, Spanish and Dutch.
We make a great team with my husband: I love designing and teaching while he is a carpenter and loves building and other manual work to create sustainable living environments.
